Powai is a suburban neighbourhood situated on the bank of Powai Lake. Located in the North-East part of Mumbai, it is bounded by L.B.S. Marg (old Mumbai-Agra road) to the North-East, Sanjay Gandhi National Park to the North, hills of Vikhroli Parksite to the South-East and Chandivali to the South-West. Kanjurmarg and Vikhroli railway station are situated about 3.5 kilometres from Powai. Eastern Expressway and LB Road connects Powai with other major localities of Chembur, Mulund, Ghatkopar and Kurla, among others.
